Cameron Barney Herbst Hilgenfeldt ("CBHH") advises STAR Capital on the sale of myflexbox to DHL Group

CBHH is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to MYFLEXBOX Austria GmbH ("myflexbox") and its shareholders including STAR Capital Partnership LLP ("STAR") as manager of STAR IV Fund, on the sale of 100% of myflexbox to DHL Group.
myflexbox operates the largest provider-agnostic parcel locker network in the DACH region, with around 3,000 stations across Germany and Austria. STAR acquired a majority stake in April 2023 alongside founding shareholder Salzburg AG and subsequently became sole shareholder. Under STAR's ownership, investment was directed squarely at network expansion, enabling myflexbox to become one of the most relevant operators for open parcel lockers in German-speaking Europe.
As part of the transaction, myflexbox will be combined with DeinFach, Deutsche Post AG's open-locker subsidiary. The combined open network will operate under the myflexbox brand, with DeinFach gradually integrated into it. myflexbox's multi-carrier model, which allows consumers to send, receive and return parcels from different couriers at a single station, will be preserved. The combination complements Deutsche Post AG’s existing network of around 19,000 Packstations, Poststations and DeinFach lockers in Germany. Deutsche Post AG’s plans to expand its German network to around 50,000 lockers by 2030, more than half of which are expected to be open myflexbox stations.
CBHH provided comprehensive M&A advisory services throughout the process, including strategic positioning, buyer approach and process management, transaction structuring, due diligence management and negotiation support.
